Nanny (NOC 6474) Employer: Private Household Location of Work: Saskatoon, SK Vacancies: 1 Job start date: Upon hire Hours: 12 - 18 hours / week (weekday) Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): First Aid Certificate, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), early child Development certificate an asset Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 6 months years’ experience taking care of young children Languages: English Personal Suitability: Reliable, outgoing, good social skills, organized, initiative, excellent oral communication, client focus SKILLS Work Location Information: Work in employer's/client's home Security and safety: Child welfare check, Driver's validity licence check, Criminal record check, Bondable Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available Children's Ages: 7 year old boy and 10 old boy Job Duties: • Supervise and care for children in employer's residence and may reside in employer's home • Feed children • Enjoy as much time outside as possible • Oversee children's activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by employer • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development • Tend to the emotional well-being of children • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents • Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise • Plan, prepare and serve meals for children and may perform other housekeeping duties • Parent provided activity list for swimming pool, parks, biking, etc etc • Maintain a healthy environment in the home • May be required to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding each child.
