Nanny Job in Ottawa, Ontario

Job Profile Part time: Monday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Thursday and Friday 8:00AM to 3:30 PM. Looking for a female caregiver to drive my daughter from our home in Manotick to art program downtown (Bronson Center) on Mondays and community living program on Thursdays and Fridays (Carlton Heights community center), assist and supervise her while at those programs, and give her insulin at lunch and supervise her using her oxygen. Also, there is an opportunity for an additional around 4 hours working with my daughter at home if you can stimulate her to talk more. When I am away there may also be an opportunity for more hours. Note: I want no part of sponsoring a caregiver from outside Canada. I have downs syndrome daughter (32) with pulmonary hypertension (heart / lung issues) who is on insulin, and oxygen. A full-time nanny looks after my daughter at home, but I need someone to take her to her art and community living programs and ideally to stimulate her to talk more. My daughter is toilet trained but needs reminding sometimes to go to the bathroom. She is pleasant, friendly, well behaved and quite petite (looks more like 13 than 32). My nanny and I can train you to provide my daughter with her insulin and oxygen. I am looking to pay $22 per hour plus mileage. The job can start ASAP i.e. October 2018.
