My name is Alexandra Deganis, I am currently enrolled in the teaching program at Brock University. I have a passion for working with children, as I am just as energetic and adventurous as they are! I am available to work full-time and overtime if needed, through the months of July and August. I have my own car, and am a fully licensed driver. I am able to do any housework, indoor as well as outdoor, such as gardening, cooking, and laundry. I am currently a tutor at a local elementary school, working in a Leveled Literacy Intervention Program, working with students on their reading and writing skills. Although working in the summer, I am sure children will not have their normal homework load, I believe that it is important to keep children engaged in academics throughout the summer months, as it can so easily be diminished come September. Using my experience from tutoring, I will be able to make fun and engaging ways to keep your children engaged in their literacy skills, and other academics throughout the summer months. Overall, I am a caring, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual, who loves working with children, and would love to share and learn new experiences with your family!
