n/a I have been taking care of children since I was about 16. Although most of the time it was for free as I took care of my younger cousins. Starting at 16 I would take care of my two year old cousin for the summer. This would be a full day job since his parents would have to work during the day. This started the trend with my family of deeming me the family babysitter and continue to be so when needed. I have also been employed as a camp counselor for two summers, watching over children with the age range of 3 to 10. This is where I learned to take care of multiple children, who were different ages, meaning multitasking different activities as well. I was also a Sunday school teacher for a year for pre-school kids at my church. This is where I learn standard way of teaching and how to my young children understand a lesson. I have had also the opportunity to be a live in nanny for three weeks. My sister and her husband had the opportunity to travel Europe and asked me if I could watch their two young children, ages 18 months and 3 year old. Here I was given guidelines to follow on caring for her kids. I was diligent in following the parents wishes was able to learn a new way of watching and caring for kids as a live in nanny. The duties during these time was as followed; - Changing of diaper - Brushing teeth - Dressing for the day - Preparing of meals - Taking of medication if needed - Sanitizing of bottles - Giving of baths - Bedtime preparations Aside from the general care of the children I also did the following activities; - Story time - Arts and Crafts - Trips to the park - Outing to the movies, play places, library and restaurants - Easy to do meal prep and baking
