My name is Rhiannon and I am just about to graduate from University! My goal is to work with children on a full time basis, however I haven\'t quite decided in what capacity - social work, nutrition, teaching. I have a lot of interests and cannot wait to find my focus. I believe that working with children truly helps you realize what you wish to become and can lead you to a happier life. As a Residence Life Don, I love watching my students grow, and the same thing can be said for children. I have watched some of my campers develop and mature over the years and it is truly miraculous what some individuals can become and how they can impact you. I have ample experience working with children between the ages of 3 to 14. Since 16 years old I have worked as a dance instructor throughout the year for children ages 3 to 14 and as a camp counsellor every summer for children ages 7 to 14. At Wilfrid Laurier University I volunteer at a nursery school specializing in children with disabilities (learning difficulties, autism, speech impairments, etc.) As well, I am a Residence Life Don for students ages 17 and 18 years old. Thus, I am a live-in resource for these students.
