My name is Melanie Quesnel; I come from a small background family that lived in the country for most of my life. I graduated high school in 2010, I took courses at Algonquin for Early Childhood Education. During my courses at Algonquin College I have learnt a lot about children, especially toddlers. I have also completed a 140 hours placement in a daycare setting with toddlers, it was interesting, fun and I loved seeing the progress of the children even over a small amount of time. My philosophy for early year learning is to learn though play and real life experiences. I am 22 years old with some ECE education from Algonquin, 3 years experience working with children and one of my own! My dream career is to have my own home daycare, only after my husband and I buy our first home and have our own family completed.
