The program was held for children whose parents were part of the staff at the camp but were to young to participate in the over night portion of the camp. I was assigned to 1 or 2 kids (depending on the week) that I would take care of. I would pick the children up in the morning from breakfast and would care for them for the rest of the of the day until dinner. I would participate in group activities such as swimming, and field games but I would also play with them individually doing crafts and playing games. If necessary I would put them down for a nap and that is when I would get a break. I did this for 2 weeks of the summer for 3 years.
