My name is Kaylee and I am a 19 year old in my second year of nursing in the NESA Bachelor of Nursing program at Lethbridge College in collaboration with the University of Lethbridge. I will graduate in April, 2017. I have worked in a hospital setting since September, 2013 and have completed 529 clinical hours since then. I have excellent communication skills and complete tasks in a timely manner. I learn quickly and have a passion for working in the health care system. I love taking care of children of all ages and am comfortable with looking after multiple children. I am fun-loving and creative and kids love that about me. I enjoy playing soccer and being outdoors as well as helping others. I am certified in Health Care Provider CPR as of August, 2014 and have a valid criminal record check done in September, 2013. This position would allow me to continue growing my healthcare career path of becoming a registered nurse specializing in pediatrics. I successfully completed the babysitting course in 2007. I have babysat since then on occasion. I recently completed my pediatric clinical rotation at the Chinook Regional Hospital and cared for many sick newborns, toddlers, school age, and adolescent children. Duties included: assessments, medication administration, comforting, feeding, entertaining, and assisting with hygiene. I am currently finishing my clinical rotation on a maternal/child floor taking care of newborns and their mothers.
