My name is Jessa and I have a love for people and an even stronger compassion for children in particular.I come from a family surrounded by plenty of children of all ages. Throughout my life, I have had extensive experience with younger family members and friends. I have allowed these people and experiences to educate me with the appropriate knowledge to care for other people's children in the future. Many would refer to me as the maternal type. I have been noted to have a soft heart but be very firm with rules. I have helped in the raising of my younger sibling and I am currently a proud God parent/ aunt to my beautiful nephew whom I have a close relationship with. I have always wanted to be in an industry that would allow me to utilize my current knowledge of child care and my drive to help others. I am on the road to becoming an ECE professional and I hope to become a preschool teacher or Early Childhood educator in the near future. Some of these children have had some severe health conditions (asthma, allergies etc) With the birth of my nephew/God son I was an live in care giver for 2 weeks while my sister was in bed rest. Currently, since my sister is a full time employee I have taken the responsibility of being her child's caregiver for a full day or sometimes a week. I have worked with parents closely with children from the new born stages up until the toddler stage.
