My name is Jenessa, I am 20 years old and enjoy spending time with children! I am a full-time student at UBCO and I am looking to make some extra money during my second term. I am a compassionate, caring, trustworthy, responsible, and reliable person with great time management skills. I get along great with children and find that caring for them is a great way to make money because it is something that I like to do! My school schedule for term 2 goes as so: Monday/Wednesday/Friday - 11:30am to 3:30pm, Tuesday/Thursday - 11:00am to 3:30pm. I am willing to work mornings of Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, and some afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I have worked at a community centre in Osoyoos, BC as a program leader in summer, winter, and spring break day camps for children ages 5 to 12. I also ran birthday parties, a Kids @ Play program for children ages 3-6, and a Girls on the Go program for girls ages 8-12. I was responsible for the safety and well-being of the children, and was responsible for planning activities. I also have over 5 years of babysitting experience of children 6 months to 11 years old. I have been responsible for the safety of the children while picking them up from school, taking them to sports activities, preparing meals, and cleaning up.
