Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

My name is Janice and I am from the Philippines I have a caregiver experience to a 19 year old lady who has celebral palsy. My responsibilities includes giving her a bath, accompanying her to the gym, park, and helping her do her exercise to develop her muscles. I also do housekeeping, laundry and helped her with some of her assignment for school. After that, I also worked to a family of 5 here in Calgary. They have 3 boys, one 5 yr old and their twins who are 2 yrs old. My duties includes meal prep, playing with them, driving the 5 yr old boy to his soccer game, giving them a bath, teaching them proper hygiene, drive them to the park, read them bed time stories, singing them nursery rhymes. I love being with children because they always bring smile to my heart. I love playing with them, hanging out with them by just talking the simple things in life. Children are amazing because they can always lighten the mood by just their laugh and smiles. I love being with them because even if they just kids, they sometimes can teach us adults what is really more important in life. They have genuine, sincere and compassionate heart and that\'s what make me feel want to be always with them. I may not have my own children yet, but I took care of my nephews and nieces who are very dear to me. I may not be the one who delivered them to this world but I did everything to make them feel they are loved and important. I play with them, bring them to school and pick them up. Helped them with their homework in school. I prepare food for them, I give them a bath and I teach them to have good hygiene. and put them to bed. I read them Bible stories or any children stories before putting them to bed. I also do house chores to keep the house clean so the children can play in a clean environment.
