Nanny in Hamilton, Ontario

My name is Erin and I am a Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) for k-6. I am trying to get on the supply list for the Hamilton school board but it is very competitive and enrollment is dropping. They recently dropped low-seniority permanent teachers back onto the supply list. So I am looking for a job working with children for at least the next year. I am familiar with the Ontario curriculum, teaching methods, and programs being implemented in schools. I was a reading volunteer at Prince of Wales school January-June 2010 so I can help raise your childs reading level, give homewrok help, and extra tutoring. I have also worked with toddlers while working for Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton and am comfortable with that age group. I have been supplying for Umbrella Family and Child Centres of Hamilton which has daycare and before- and after-school programs since fall 2007. I spent one year in South Korea teaching English to children 3-14. I am a qualified teacher (jk-gr6) with teaching placement and school volunteering experiences. I have volunteered at different schools in various areas of the city. I volunteer in the nursery of Emmanuel United Church where I have also taught Sunday School.
