My name is Elana Wilson. I am in the process of finishing my Bachelor of Science, with a major in Biology. I currently live in British Columbia, but am moving to Saskatoon this month to explore new opportunities. I\'m not the kind of person that will just sit and supervise children. I prefer to be directly involved and engaged with children. I have so many fun and challenging games that support socialization, critical thinking and other intellectual skills. I have bilingual diploma and have some piano skills that would be great to pass down to kids. I lead a very active lifestyle and would love to share that with children in the form of swimming, walking, hiking and biking. I have so much knowledge of the environment and animals that I would love to share with kids. I have babysat children from ages 3 months-13 years of age for 10 years or more. For 3 years I was involved in a special needs care center located in Penticton, British Columbia which focused on children with Down Syndrome, Autism and permanently disabled. This center was involved with improving socialization skills, self-care methods, education and exposure to novel situations. I love to work with kids and have some great games and craft activities to show children. I am very capable of cooking and housekeeping. My lifestyle is extremely active so with older children I enjoy activities such as walking, biking, and field trips.
