My name is Amanda, 27 years old. I have worked many different jobs and the one that I have loved so far is working at a day care with children. Being in that environment has taught me so much about children. How extremely smart they are at such a young age, how curious and adventurous they are, sensitive and intuitive, silly and loving. I have been blessed that the job came into my life, but I have left PEI for other adventures, to eventually reach my goal of the ultimate dream of having my own place and eventually starting a family of my own when the time is right. I am a driven individual that is responsible, caring, mature and I am just keeping all the options open for a great opportunity when it arises. One summer I babysat my cousins full time for the whole summer when I was about 16. I worked at a day care on PEI from November 2010-end of October 2012. I have worked one on one for the first year with a couple children during that time. Worked with ages 2-7 and sometimes Infants, having my own classroom, sharing a room with another teacher, having family style groupings (mixture of 2,3,and 4 in a class) and also rooms with just a specific age group (2,3 or 4's just with their own age) I do not have any children of my own but have an interest and love for children. clean driving record/driver abstract
