Nanny Job in West Vancouver, British Columbia

We are a social family of 4 seeking a full time long-term live in housekeeper/nanny. Will work alongside mother to help provide housekeeping and care for the children. Will often be responsible for carrying out many of the designated tasks independently or with supervision of parent. We are WILLING to SPONSOR under the live-in care program. Predominant regular responsibilities are housekeeping, meal prep and childcare. Flexibility with work schedule is a must. 5 days a week/40hours per week. Must work weekends with weekdays off. Typically a day will consist of housekeeping and periods of nanny type support. Occasionally, babysitting in evenings. Looking for an individual who is family orientated, who can play an integral role in child development and and become a positive addition to our family. DUTIES: Perform general housework related duties, cleaning, laundry, ironing, meal preparation, cooking. Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the child. Supervise the child’s activities at all times. Prepare meals and snacks Dress the child. Bedtime and hygiene routines. Perform housework related to child care, including washing the children’s clothes, cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas. Encourage physical activity both indoors and outdoors. Lead educational activities, including reading, homework, lesson practice, and crafts. Exhibit/display positive social behaviors and manners. Available to start asap.
