Nanny Job in Richmond Hill, Ontario

We are a professional and incredibly fun family who is searching for a new caregiver/nanny to help care for our children. Our current caregiver has been with us for over 3 years and is trying a new career. We offer a lovely home environment built on love and trust and a strong foundation of support for one another. We value the work that our nanny provides to our family and it is our mission to help make this experience for our nanny enjoyable and rewarding. Our preference is to have a live-in nanny, however, it is not a requirement. We do offer a private room for a live-in caregiver at no extra charge to them. Live-in is not a condition of employment. You will be responsible for:  Supervising and caring for our two (2) children including, but not limited to; monitoring dressing and ensuring the kids are well fed.  Instruct children in personal hygiene and appropriate social development (including teeth brushing, hair brushing, washing, etc.);  Reading to children, helping them with educational activities, reading, playing (including indoor and outdoor), preparing craft materials and assisting children to use them;  Appropriately disciplining of the children according to methods requested by parents;  Preparing three (3) nutritious meals per day and appropriate snacks for the family;  Light housekeeping;  Washing and ironing of household clothing and linens;  Assuming full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents;  Traveling with us on trips to assist with child supervision if requested;  Other duties as may be assigned and are consistent with the role of a Nanny for children.
