Hello, I'm Angela 😊 I am 40 years young. I have one child approaching 3years old. Thank you for your interest in my services. I have casual availability at this time. My three main goals in any new home are: Cleanliness, Conscientiousness and Communication. These are the strategic building blocks I use in my work with all families, based on experience, wise beyond my years. My base wage is $18/hour. Salary or day rate can be discussed/negotiated. I expect that accrued km to be reimbursed at 0.60c/km. I am the eldest of a large family, (four sisters, one brother), where I learned a strong work ethic, independence, and positive leadership. The majority of the families that I've cared for have had multiple children between the ages of 4 and 10 years, however I am very attentive to newborns and toddler age, known as a baby whisperer by clients, friends, and family alike. I have cared for children's needs for over 25 years! I have nannied for approximately 50 families, watching over 150 children in total. I have worked, and volunteered for several day minding centres, (Fitness Factory, YMCA, Open Door Society). I have also cared for adults in group home for special needs, (Lutheran Care Homes), as well as been an independent personal Care Aide to the elderly. I am a natural born caregiver with much experience in the field. In the United States, (St. Augustine FL, The Woodlands TX, Orange CA, Pleasantville NY), I was a live in Au Pair and full time Nanny for four families. I often acted as Personal Assistant, Tutor, family Chef and Driver. Also entrusted as the households first response; a responsible and reliable 24hr caregiver, while parents worked abroad. I'm experienced with newborn to elderly, and I easily get along with everyone I meet. I have patience, intelligence, and a nurturing heart. I am a fabulous cook, and experienced commercial cleaner. My varied, past work experiences give me a dynamic edge in skillful problem solving, and decisiveness, especially under pressure. I have studied formal Health Science, (Nursing, Laboratory Science and Occupational Health and Safety), as well as, Administration, and Construction. I have a personal interest in Politics, Economics, Business, and trade. I have recently completed an online diploma in Coaching and am currently taking on an online diploma in Early Childhood Development. I'm currently in University full time with a completion date of May 2025. My hobbies include; nutritional and life coaching, volunteer work, knitting, foreign language study, writing, indoor gardening and athletic training.
