Hey there! My name is Romi, and I just graduated from Concordia University where I was studying Art History and Film. After four years of living and studying in Montreal I am moving back to Ontario and looking for Summer time work. I have a lot of experience with children as a babysitter and camp instructor. While babysitting I was responsible for -Providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment -Completing light errands and house work such as laundry, groceries. -Cooking nutritious and delicious meals for the children. -Transporting children to activities -Taking small day trips around the city. -Encouraging magical, imaginative thinking through day trips, colouring, and playing pretend. As a summer camp leader I was responsible for: -Watching over children while ensuring their safety - Planning safe and fun activities for children ages 5-8 & 8-12 -Lend a hand to children during snack time -Sing Songs, help with crafts, play games -Also on swim days I was responsible for watching over three children, ensuring their safety in and out of the water I have been trained in CPR and first aid, and have completed all swimming courses up until NLS I enjoy being around children and feel it is very important to encourage an active imagination. I love reading and spending time outside and encourage an active, and fun lifestyle I am passionate about music and enjoy incorporating this aspect into activities as much as possible. I have access to a car, although it is shared so I will need to be made aware if a car is needed on particular days. Recommendations available upon request :)
