Employer: Ayesha Mirza We are looking for Child caregiver-private home ( 1 position) Care for 2 children in employer’s home (5 year old and second baby is expected on Jan 2018) Language: English We are a professional family of four, a 5 year old boy and second baby is expected to be due on January 2018. We are looking for a reliable caregiver, who is passionate about children, loves spending time with children, and keeps them active and engaged. Our main priority is that our children spend time with someone from whom they can learn and be safe with. Childcare is truly the core of the job, however other minor day-to-day household duties will also be expected (especially as the relate to children) Job Descriptions: Supervise and care for baby (due Jan 2018) and 5.5 year old Boy; Sanitize the bottles and toys, Change diapers, Prepare and serve nutritious snacks and meals to children; Read to children, Organize activities such as games and outings for children; do arts andcrafts, take children to play outside, and other outings close to our residence such as local playgroup, park, and library etc. Drop off and pickup ourson at the nearby preschool,Assume full responsibility for household in the absence of parents; maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home Specific Skills: Communication; Problem solving; Decision making; Team player Terms of employment: Permanent; Full-time Morning/ Day/ Evening ( Flexible) Wages: $14.00 per hour for 40 hours a week ( if over 44 hours, over time rate of 1.5% applied) Education required: Completion of high school or equivalent Other requirements: Child’s CPR and First Aid Certificate, Work reference Work experience: at least 1 year exp. caring for children, exp. caring new born is an ideal asset Vulnerable Youth, newcomers, Indigenous minority groups are welcome to apply.
