Nanny Job in Oakville, Ontario

We are a professional couple looking for either a full-time OR part-time live out Nanny to join our family starting in September, 2018. The Nanny will provide care for our two children (boy, 5 and girl, 3). Full-time would be 7:30am-5:30pm OR part-time would be mornings 7:30 - 9:30am and afternoons 3:00 - 5:30pm. Job Description/Responsibilities: Drop-off and pick-up at Sr Kindergarten for older child (walking distance). If part-time arrangement, drop off/pickup at daycare for younger child is also required and within walking distance. Other duties would depend on if full-time or part-time arrangement, but would include bathing and cleaning, dressing and feeding, playing together, going to the park, attending occasional activities (as appropriate and within walking distance), reading, preparing for bed, etc. Some light housework, laundry/ironing, and meal preparation is also required, but the primary focus will be to provide quality, loving care for our children. Qualifications: Already located in Canada; trustworthy, reliable, flexible, takes initiative; must love caring for children; non-smoker. No driving is required. Preferences/Assets: Ideally you have a minimum of 2 years of paid infant/child care experience with references available; criminal background check available (or willingness to obtain); completed high school or equivalent is preferred but not required; CPR and/or First Aid training also preferred; previous meal preparation and housekeeping experience would be great! Location/Accommodations: We live in Oakville (Bronte Creek neighbourhood, near Upper Middle Rd/Bronte Rd) and there is a bus stop 2 minutes from our home. Hours of Work: Typically 50 hours per week if full-time OR 20-25 hours per week if part-time. There may be some flexibility once in a while, depending on our work schedules. We require someone who is willing to flex with us to help balance our home and work lives!
