Nanny Job in Etobicoke, Ontario

We are a professional, happy and caring couple looking for a caring, responsible and experienced nanny to care for our two young children – a three-year-old girl and a 10-month old boy. We live in a wonderful neighbourhood with lots of young families and are within walking distance from a playground, drop in center, library and shops. We are looking for a nanny with at least three years experience in child care. You must love children and be mature, reliable, trustworthy and punctual. You will be required to work weekdays. We are a non-smoking household with no pets. We are looking for a nanny who will fit in well with our family and who will look forward to spending time with our children. A Certificate in Child Care and First Aid will also be highly regarded. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities preparing bottles and changing diapers for the baby dressing children appropriate to the child's activities planning and supervising meals and snacks cleaning and washing up after children's meals transporting children to activities (all walking distance) undertaking appropriate creative, educational and outdoor activities with the children putting the children down for their naps reading to and with the children tidying children's bedrooms and play areas reinforcing appropriate discipline for the children implementing daily routines doing light housework as time allows Education and Experience high school graduate further training in child care and development such as a formal nanny training program, early childhood classes and/or in-service training will be highlighy regarded proven child care experience with references First Aid and CPR certification (class can be provided to the apprioriate candidate)
