Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hello! We are urgently seeking an excellent caregiver to enjoy fun in the city with our two kids this summer. Heiko is 11 and Wolfi is almost 5. Our previously great nanny had a family emergency and is no longer able to work with our family. The dates are as follows: - Mon-Fri July 24 -- July 28 - Mon July 31 - Mon-Tue Aug 14 & 15 - Mon-Fri Aug 21 -- Aug 25 - Mon-Fri Aug 28 -- Sep 1 We are looking for full time help, although we are OK with anything in the range of 30-40 hours/week. A university student would be ideal, but we are also open to working with responsible, senior high school students with babysitting experience. If it is a good fit, there may be an option to continue with after-school help during the school year. About our kids: Heiko (11) is a hockey player and speed cube fan. He likes to cook his own meals! Wolfi (4) has strong, somewhat unusual interests: he loves robot vacuum cleaners and bey blades. Both kids currently attend Montessori school. Here are a few other things that are important to us: - As much outdoor play as possible (splash pads!) - Calm and tidy home environment - Wholesome home-cooked from-scratch snacks and meals (low sugar) - Active lifestyle, movement and play! We are located in the Dundas & Dufferin (Little Portugal) area in the west end of Toronto, near Dufferin Grove Park and Trinity Bellwoods. There are lots of parks nearby for easy summer days. My husband and I will be primarily working from home, although we have separate workspaces from the rest of the house and we've navigated this easily in the past. We are happy to share references from other nannies we've worked with. Finally, Heiko is peanut allergic, so it is essential that you are comfortable with an epi-pen and the extra responsibility of being super-cautious with food. Hope to hear from you soon!
