Nanny Job in Victoria, British Columbia

We are a small family in Gordon Head looking for a loving outdoorsy caregiver for our 2 kids who are 6 & 3. We need 3 full days covered each week for the month of August from 7:00am- 4:45pm. The days are flexible as we have my parents for 2 days- at the moment they care for our kids on Thursday & Fridays. Our daughter will be starting grade 1 in September so we would need before and after school care for her starting at 7:00-9:00am- and then from 2:30- 4:45pm. My son will be attending a nature preschool on Mon, Wed, Fri from 9-3 so we would need before and after school care for him on those days and full days on the other days. Both schools are located within walking distance to our house however I leave my car most days and it is free to use. Ideally we are looking for someone who has a license and drives as picking up the kids could be tight with the schedule if you were to walk. My kids are both outgoing, outdoorsy and laid back. We practice gentle discipline ie no time outs or shaming. We prefer to let them feel their emotions rather than tell them their ok and "toughen up". We are looking for someone who is loving, active, and fun. We are hoping to find someone 3-4 days a week. Please give us a call and we can see how we fit!
