Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for an experienced responsible live-in caregiver for our two children, ages 6 and 3, and are willing to sponsor under the Live-In Caregiver Program. The parents are a professional working couple and require someone to take care of the children and the house while they are working. The children are both in school, so we need the nanny to walk the children to school and pick them up, prepare meals for the children (including dinner for the family), and do housekeeping while the children are in school (eg cleaning, laundry, organizing and tidying up, and other duties around the house). We live in a very kid-friendly neighborhood, so we need the nanny to organize play dates for the children when there is no school, or take them to the library or park (all in walking distance). We also require the nanny to do educational activities with the children, such as reading, puzzles, painting and coloring, and helping the older child with homework. We are looking for someone who is proactive, resourceful, reliable and has a sincere care for children. We do need the nanny to have prior experience with young children. We have a furnished private room for the nanny in our basement. It is a very comfortable living space with all amenities, close to public transit. We would like the nanny to be already in Canada.
