Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Looking for a full-time nanny for three children, if you have special needs experience and specifically experience with kids with autism and ADHD then it could be you. You must be a loving, calm, patient, understanding, and self-motivated person. You are a great team player and also able to work independently. This is a physically demanding job so you must be healthy and able to lift 80 – 100lbs. The job expectations will be to tend to all childcare duties (dressing, bathing, feeding, attending to emotional needs of children, instruct children on personal hygiene and social development, organize activities and games, as well as, cleaning, cooking and laundry. You must be flexible with hours and days needed but generally will work 8AM – 4PM. Our 7 year old son is in grade 1 and our 4 year old son is in a specialized preschool mornings in Cochrane and we have a new baby girl who is 6 months. You will be expected to help with the baby as needed. Our home is just on the out-skirts of the city in a rural area and there is no public transportation. You must have a driver’s license and be willing to pick up and drop-off kids from school or any extracurricular activities when needed. Criminal Record Check and CPR/First Aid are an asset. You must be eligible to work in Canada or be a permanent resident. We will pay $17 an hour. This position will start as soon as possible.
