Nanny in Stony Plain, Alberta

I am a graduate of Brock University's Child and Youth Studies B.A. (Honours) program and received my Early Childhood Education Diploma from Niagara College during which I completed 600 placement hours providing care in multiple childcare settings. The bulk of my experience and interest is caring for children from newborn - 2 years. I have previously obtained both my CPR-C with First Aid and AED and a police check with vulnerable sector and though they have lapsed I am willing to do so again. I have also received an Alberta Childcare Staff Certification after moving to Alberta in 2017. My previous experience includes providing casual care for three siblings ages 3, 5 and 8 for the summer, full time with a 4 month old until they were 10 months and part time with their 3 year old sibling, 8 month old twins, and most recently with two siblings a 1 year old since they were 4 months and their 3 year old sibling. As well as occasional care for friends and family. I enjoy supporting exploration and for a child exploration is a part of everyday experiences and whether supporting a child walking, providing waterbeads and scoops, or other sensory experiences I enjoy helping them find new ways to be curious and discover the world that they live in.
