Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Hello, our current nanny of 7 years is moving onto the next phase of her life, so we are hoping to find someone as fabulous as she was. We are a big, loving and easy-going family with 4 children aged 10, 9, 7 and 3 and a super friendly, hypoallergenic dog. The children are all in school full-time, so this job is 50% childcare and 50% running our home. We require a caregiver that is prepared to work flexible work hours. This position is for maximum 40 hrs total per week, but the hours may vary depending on our schedules. A typical week will be 7:30 - 1...am and then again 3pm - 7pm, leaving you time off during the day to do whatever you like. Childcare duties include: supervise children before and after school, prepare a variety of nutritious meals, safely transport the children to and from school, organizing their toys, helping with homework, arts and crafts, plan outings, occasional supervision of their friends, assistance with bathing, etc. Housekeeping duties include: cleaning, laundry, seasonal rotation of clothing, walking the dog, ordering groceries, etc. Minimum Requirements: 2 years recent experience (in past 3 years) caring for more than 1 child, ages 3-10 yrs old. Flexible work hours (mornings and evenings). Strong ability to plan and prepare a variety of healthy meals. Strong command of the English language - both written and oral. CPR/First Aid Certification. Comfortable with dogs. Salary is $1950 - $... per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
