Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are looking for a full-time, live-in nanny to care for our cheerful and sweet young girls, ages 4 months and almost 3 years old (initially mainly for the 3-year old until my maternity leave ends in the fall). Our caregiver will be provided with a separate apartment in our house in central Toronto, including independent entrance, kitchen and living space (apartment is currently rented for $1000/month). We are located near Dufferin Grove Park,close to the subway and a short walk from shops, grocery stores, etc. We are looking for someone who is loving and will engage with our children in active play and learning. Our caregiver will accompany our daughters to activities, do pick-up/drop-off at school, prepare children\'s meals, organize creative activities (arts and crafts, etc.), and set up play-dates. Light housekeeping duties include some meal preparation, children\'s laundry, loading and unloading dishwasher, some grocery shopping, etc. Tidiness and organization are important qualities. We also have two friendly and affectionate dogs, but pet care will not be required. Our daughter(s) will likely be attending French school, and ideally our caregiver will speak French fluently. Driver\'s license and swimming skills are not a requirement, but a definite plus. We are willing to sponsor under the Live-in Caregiver Program for a francophone caregiver. We have a loving family and our children are a priority for us. We are caring, reliable, and responsible parents and are looking for the same in a caregiver. Our ideal start-date is the beginning of August, however start-date and wages are negotiable.
