Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

We are a kind, loving Jewish family of four looking for an energetic nanny to take care of Benji, our 1.5 year old son and Trudy, our 4 year old daughter. Your day would include morning prep for school (Trudy is in JK around the corner), and primarily caring for Benji, a sweet and active little guy who loves going to the park, the library, and other drop-in programs. House cleaning and meal preparation are other expectations of the position. We are looking for someone who loves children and knows how to communicate and play with them. We are both teachers who work nearby to home. We are fortunate to have the support of our extended family and they are frequent visitors to our home and are important people in our children's lives. Benji is very social - everyone at the library knows him - and enjoys going to programs and play spaces. His favourite thing is the water, especially the splashpad and the bathtub! He has a great appetite (especially for sweet potatoes and matzo balls!) and is a good sleeper. He loves to clap along at Rainbow Songs. He's not yet walking, but probably will be by the time you meet him. Believe it or not, he's on to haircut #3 - quite a mop of hair for such a little guy! Trudy is fun, funny, clever and can sing a million songs, many of which she makes up on her own. She loves to surround herself with books and plays sweetly with her little brother. Currently, Trudy wants to be a gardener when she grows up because she loves planting and growing vegetables. Sometimes, she'll even eat them, too! We recently moved to the Oakwood and St. Clair area and we are excited about all the programs close by in the neighbourhood and about this next phase in our family's life. We hope to find someone to share in our joy of our children and their incredible growth!
