SKILLS REQUIRED: - Education: completion of high school, completion of carergiver Certificate - Training: First Aid, CPR - Language: Fluent in English - Work Experience: minimum 1 to 2 years experience as a caregiver to children - References to be provided upon request JOB DUTIES: - Supervise and care for children - Organize, activities such as games and outings for children - Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development - Prepare and serve nutritious meals - Shop for food and household supplies - Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties - Tend to emotional well-being of children - Take children to and from school and to appointments - Help children with homework - Bathe, dress and feed infants and children - Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them - Read to children - Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens - Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents - Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties - Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home - Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents Transportation: - Job close to transit. - Driver's license not required.
