I have been babysitting for over 10 years and I have successfully passed the Red Cross babysitting course. I have experience tutoring two young children for a little over a year now. I have volunteered with spring break camps, with a kindergarten and grade 1 class, as well as Sports Day Carnivals with a variety of elementary schools. I constantly volunteer with Special Olympics and Faces of Mental Illness; therefore, I have experience working with different ages and as well as with special needs children. Last year I was a Residence Orientation leader for SFU, so I have experience with all ages. I am extremely passionate about working with children. This is absolutely what I am meant for. I am very hard-working. I take my job very seriously. With my pervious experience as a babysitter I had responsibilities such as creating fun activities for the children, cooking for them, taking them out, putting them to sleep and occasionally helping them with homework and other educational activities.
