Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

I really enjoy doing crafts with children, so if you have arty kids I'm sure I can keep them entertained. I love telling jokes, and have some experience in clown work. I promise not a scary clown, though! Early mornings and late nights never bother me, I've dealt with both a lot in my life. I feel as if I have a knack for calming people down when they are upset, and I really enjoy talking out why someone is upset and fixing it. When I was a bit younger and not living in the city, I would babysit the children living on the block (ages 2-9) while their parents we're out for the night, or working. Since then I have loved volunteering at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia teaching children art classes (ages 2-10). It's something I've always loved doing, and can never be in a bad mood when I do. Each day we would teach them a new thing relating to a topic, make sure they handle all of the art supplies with safety and care, take them out for recess and watch over them. I am also a face painter, so for the past couple years I've done birthday parties, social events, and children's days at restaurants painting faces of all ages.
