I love working with children; their inquisitive attitudes and loads of energy make them a joy to be around. I am responsible and dependable, but also fun and energetic. I’m 21 years old, but don\'t let my age fool you! I have almost 10 years of experience looking after newborns to young teens, and all ages in between. I can ensure that your child or children will be well cared for, just as they would be if they were my own. I also have experience in the culinary industry, so if you are looking for someone who can care for your children, cook, and preform housekeeping duties, you\'ve found the right girl for the job! My rates are as follows: 13$ an hour for regular daytime child care, after school care, and/or evening babysitting 17$ an hour for regular childcare any time of day meal preparation (dinners, school lunches) and housekeeping Thank you! My first childcare experiences were as a evening/weekend babysitter for several different families around my neighbourhood. The children I looked after were between the ages of 6 mo. and 6 years, and my responsibilities included organizing games and activities, preparing and serving meals and snacks, putting them down for naps and bedtime, and maintaining their overall safety and contentment. In the following years I have continued to provide occasional babysitting for a couple of Montreal families, and have also been hired as both a live in and live out nanny. Most recently, I have cared for a 3 fantastic children, ages 6, 8, and 11. I have been both a casual babysitter and a live-in nanny for this family since 2012 on an as needed basis. My responsibilities included, but were not limited to: providing standard childcare i.e watching the children when parents are out (after school, weekends, evenings), preparing and serving meals, helping with homework, engaging the children in activities and games, taking them on outings, defusing conflicts between the siblings, and nurturing self-esteem. I was also responsible for bringing the youngest child to and from school.
