They are our future and to be a part of such an important part of their younger years is truly an honour I would be blessed to have. For work experience when I was in school I would attend a local elementary school and help with kindergarten classes as well as grade 7 classes. I would create art projects for them and assist the teachers for a couple of hours each week for approx. 8 weeks. I have done a lot of babysitting over my younger years while I was in high school, mostly for neighbourhood children. I volunteer with community policing and we are currently working on some programs with the local schools so I am in the process of being very involved with children in this area. I also used to teach Sunday school at my church for approx. 5 years. As well, I have looked after my little cousins from time to time.
