Nanny in Calgary, Alberta

Hi! Im Kenzie. Im currently looking for a nanny position in or nearby Calgary Alberta. Im open to casual, temporary, part time or full time, Im also flexible on hours & days. I'm a mama to a nature loving, active 3 year old boy. I follow gentle parenting philosophies but am open and accommodating to all values and parenting styles. I love arts & crafts, nature, outdoor adventures, & animals. Im great at organizing and planning, have a love for cleaning and cooking and a passion for the childcare industry. When im not working with kids I do Private Dog Training & Behavioural Consulting. Ive been in the child care industry for 7 years now, and love helping little minds learn & grow! For 6 months I was a Preschool Teacher/Special Needs Aide, working in a variety of schools and positions. I was also a Supervisor in 2 Out of School Care Program for 3 years, planning & implementing both education based and play based programming. For the past 4 years ive run a dayhome, mainly caring for ages 0-6 years old. I have extensive experience transporting children to school/activities, planning & implementing meals & activities, caring for multiple children at once, & providing supervision on field trips. I have my level 1 in child development, as well as a police clearance with vulnerable sector search and my first aid/CPR. Ive taken other child related courses including childhood diversity, food handling & learning through play workshops. I drive, have a reliable car, valid drivers license with a clean abstract & an very car seat savvy and safety oriented. Im hoping the family I work with would be open to me bringing my 3 year old with me, but am flexible and understanding if this is not an option.
