I have just recently finished an Associate of Arts degree and am currently working on completing some supplementary courses to enter into third year of a Psychology Bachelor\\\'s degree. I am employed part-time at a yoga studio but am looking for a job that allows me to return to something that brings me exceptional joy... being around kids! As part of Katimavik, a nine month leadership program, I worked as a day care assistant, a classroom support worker, and as a program assistant for the City of Leduc. As a day care assistant I was required to care for, and engage, children from ages 0-5. As a classroom support worker, I worked with children from ages 5-11 in domains such as: preparing classroom materials, supervising student-centred literacy and numeracy activities, tutoring, and supervising children in hallways and during recess. My position with the City of Leduc involved planning and leading Spring Break/Pro-D day camps for children ages 6-12. Also, as a member of Canada World Youth, I worked abroad in Indonesia as an English teacher and youth conference developer for children from ages 5-16.
