Nanny in Port Hope, Ontario

Dear, Potential employer, I have been working in child care since 2009. The first position began when the baby was 9 months old and I continued to care for her professionally almost full time until she she was about 7. I then provided part time care for her step sister from the ages of around 6 to 11 when they became a blended family household.During this position I also provided pet care for several dogs and cats and many overnight shifts. I also worked as a live in nanny for a 9 to 14 month old baby and her 5 nearly 6 year old brother. I also provided travel/vacation assistance for the family during summer holidays. I am currently working a short term position taking care of ten year old twins. Yes, I currently live part time in Port Hope am very willing and hoping to relocate for a nanny position.I am willing and eager to relocate if need be, so please don't rule me out because of my current location! In fact relocation would be exciting, even. I have my CPR training which includes CPR for infants and children, and have some formal early childhood education training. My philosophy for taking care of children is to employ plenty of empathy, understanding, and patience. I really value early childhood education and would be very enthusiastic for any employers who believed in the same. I would love to help out with reading, development of social skills, as well as character development in children. P.S. I you have pets, I'm an animal lover so that will never be an issue.
