I have had a close bond with children for as long as I can remember. They are what bring the most joy in my life and I can\'t think of a time where I have been happier than while I\'ve worked with children. Yes, they do all have their moments, but at the end of the day it all comes down to the little mind that I know has been given the chance at a new day to grow in the right direction; he/she is full of life in the most innocent way possible and to me that is one of the most precious things a child can provide for us as adults in return for giving them what they need, as we tend to forget innocence when getting caught up in our own daily lives. I love being reminded of the small things in life that should be cherished and I wouldn\'t be who I am today if it weren\'t for the children I\'ve gotten the privilege to spend time with over the years as they all have a special place in my heart. I love to spend time with kids and I always make sure that their happiness and safety is my number one priority whenever I am around them. I\'m extremely dedicated and full of love for children and I can\'t imagine a better way to give that than to a child/children that needs it. It\'s very important to me that kids are given the opportunity to grow in a loving and caring environment as much as possible, especially at such young ages. This is when children are just being introduced to the world and how it works and there\'s no better way for a child to grow in a positive way than to have positive influences and encouraging motivation whenever it can be given. This encourages a child to do his/her best later on in life when tougher obstacles begin to take form in their lives down the line. My main goal is to provide your children with someone who is set on making sure that they are comfortable, encouraged, nurtured and all of their needs are met at the times you as parents are unable to be there yourself so that you can provide for your family without having to stress about whether or not your children are safe and getting the attention that they need and deserve. I have had over seven years of experience babysitting day/night shifts almost weekly. I used to nanny two girls ages 2 & 4 around three nights a week for almost a year until they moved provinces. I also have my Early Learning & Childcare government certification acquired from the first level course offered at Grant MacEwan university which I was lucky enough to take within my high school career. The certification allows me to work with children of all ages within daycares and/or primary schools if needed. I have volunteered at The Learning Centre daycare in Leduc, AB for six months in 2012-201... working mainly with the toddlers (17 months-2.5 years) although I'm great with children of all ages. . Besides caring for your children, I am also open to tidy up in the house, meal prep, go on grocery runs as well as whatever may be needed of me during my hours of work, within reason.
