I have come to realize that every child is different and I like finding ways to work together to make life enjoyable. Every puzzle piece is different but if you\'re patient you can find a way to fit them together and you get a great, satisfying result. I like to keep them active through swimming, playing outdoors, going to parks, walking the dog (if applicable). I like to keep them engaged in fun outings, for example : the beach, lion safari, other zoos, science centre, the ROM, the children\'s museum, readings at the library, and especially, reading at home. I LOVED books as a child, loved to read, and I try to pass that along by making reading an important AND fun part of every day and night. I also believe children should be able to express themselves in positive, creative ways through arts and crafts and other interesting projects. It keeps them busy, burns some energy, stimulates their creativity, and at the end of it - they have something to show for it! They\'ve MADE something and they can feel the pride that brings. I have many experiences, wide in range. Ive worked as a babysitter, nanny, camp counsellor, tutor, kindergarten teachers assistant, not to mention the many younger family members I have.
