Nanny in Vancouver, British Columbia

I have over a decade of experience caring for children and find that it's one thing I am truly passionate about - fostering the space that allows a kid to be a kid and helping to further their growth at the same time. I've cared for all ages of children and have a wide range of experience, including 12 years of on-and-off babysitting and a year of being a full-time nanny to 2 wonderful children & a house full of crazy pets. I also have experience tutoring, volunteering at a resource centre aimed at children with learning disabilities, volunteering in kindergarten classrooms, running games & activites at public events, etc. I will be the first to jump into playtime with your kids, but also the first to make sure everything gets cleaned up after all is said and done. I have cooked meals, taken children to parks, changed diapers, done household cleaning, and completed bedtime routines as well. Additionally, I have babysat children with pets in the house as well and therefore taken care of the pets too. I am no stranger to chaos and I welcome any challenges. The most important thing is creating an environment that allows a kid to grow while still allowing them to be a kid. What that means is different for every family and every child, and I love figuring that out. I am open to either an occasional or regular schedule. I get around with public transit, so while I'm willing to go anywhere I can get to with that (and more than happy to use transit with the kids as well), I do not have a license or a car at my disposal.
