I finished the Early Childhood Education (ECE) program at Conestoga College in December of 2011. I have my First Add with CPR-C, and a police check. I have been babysitting for 15 years, and a nanny for 10 years. I like to take the children outside, do art/crafts, and be active with the children. I am looking for someone who needs childcare in their house in the Kitchener/Waterloo Area. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider me for the job. Jessica cared for our twins starting when they were 11 months old. She is an engaged, affectionate, hard-working caregiver. Jessica took our kids on lots of outings, put together age appropriate activities and crafts, and helped them learn their shapes, numbers, and letters. She also helped us with potty training and sleep training. Jessica is a fantastic nanny and we keep in touch with her regularly!

We employed Jessica as a live-out nanny for our two children. As a nanny, she truly set the bar to the highest standard. She always had fun, constructive, and educational activities planned. She fed our girls nutritious meals. She regularly took them out for exercise and to our neighbourhood pool in the summer. She was punctual, prepared, and dedicated to the well-being of our children. She was always very responsible and cautious of the children's safety. Our daughters really appreciated her talents as a caregiver and remember her fondly to this day. Jessica was also very open and kept a detailed account of the daily activities for us to view. Jessica is an outstanding nanny and I highly recommend her.

Jessica worked full time as the nanny for our two children from 2016 to 2022, from when they were each around a year old, until they were 5 and 8 and both in school. Now that they’re in school, we no longer have need of her full time services, but still employ her for babysitting occasionally. It’s clear to me that working with children is a passion for Jessica. Throughout the time she worked for us, Jessica created a safe, fun environment for my children. She was a self-starter and independently planned many activities (e.g. swimming, rock climbing, play places, bowling, summer camps, etc) to keep the children’s days full, and help them enjoy a wide range of activities. Once school started, she handled child pickup and after school activities. Outside of school, she planned educational activities, and contributed a lot to helping the children develop math and language skills. I was impressed by her reliability and work ethic - for the many years she worked for us, she always arrived when she said she would, and was often available on short notice when needed.
