After college I have over 7years experience in the child care feild. While I was a high school student for 2 summers, I organized a program to keep children off the streets and playing in a safe setting. I also had a co-op in a home day care care. During college I had 3 placements 2 were in a daycare and one was in a kidnergarten classroom. After college I was an Au Pair in America and I was with a family of four children. After that I have been in child care ever since working my way up. This pass December I was offered a supervisors job for a closed day care and I was to get it back up and running. I have experince from infants to schoolage in both home and child care setting. I have expereince with potty training, planning outting, helping write their name, napping, etc. I love getting down to the chidlren's level playing games, singings, making arts and crafts, reading stories, etc. I have been around children my whole life and I would say the best thing about child care is wacthing them grow, learn and reach their milestones. :) If you choose me I would like to give my work at least 2-3 weeks notices. I also can speak abit a french and read basic french.( I also know a few songs in french as well) So I am able to help children in grade K-2 with their basic french. My present centre is closing down due to lack of funds. Like they say when one door shuts another one opens and I am now looking to be a nanny.
