I am very experienced individual, I enjoy caring for children/youth and take my job seriously but able to make it into an enjoyable experience for myself the family and the children. I have many references that will have any questions needed answered. Any family would enjoy having me around their loved ones. I am currently working for youth with autistic and behavioural disorders in a group home setting. I have been employed at this location for 3 years. On a daily basis I am to care for these youth and help them through their daily programs involving such tasks as: -personal hygiene -academic programs -cooking, and cleaning -community outings -life skills -calming strategies -safe management certified (youth with aggressive tendencies) -Medisystem certified (youth with daily medications) -food safety certified -completed one year of schooling (Child Youth Worker) at George Brown College.
