I am seeking a fun-loving, easy going family with a sense of humor who would be excited to have my daughter around as a playmate for their child/ren in the afternoons. I believe that the most important parts of my job are to keep kiddos safe, make sure they know they are loved and cherished and special, to encourage them to be kind, compassionate and confident, and to create a joyful, fun and warm environment where they can be comfortable, learn through play, explore and be silly. I have been a nanny to some incredible families for almost a decade, and worked in a daycare before that while attending University. I love what I do, and feel lucky that I have a vocation that I enjoy so much and that I know I'm good at it. I have mainly worked with children aged 9 months to five years, but have had some experience with all ages. I have a detailed resume as well as lovely references available upon request. Each family i had the pleasure of working with was unique in duties, hours and number of children. Most recently I worked with a fabulous, loving family with one daughter who was a year old when I began, and I was with them for over a year. My hours were 8:30-5:30, Monday through Friday. I made a healthy breakfast and lunch for the kiddo, and often dinner for the whole family. We went on an outing each morning (aquarium, beach, library, park, family place, classes, etc.), and while she napped I cleaned the house, did her laundry (if needed), and prepared dinner. I tried to have a clean house and happy daughter waiting for the parents when they got home from work.
