Nanny in Halifax, Nova Scotia

I am particularly interested in respite care for the parents of newborn babies. Often making the transition from hospital to home can be overwhelming. Emotions can run high due to lack of sleep and inexperience. I am a RN and Lactation Consultant. Often needed support for breastfeeding is not immediately available to parents within the crucial 48 hours of being home. I would like to offer this kind of assistance day or night. I have worked for Public Health Services for many years. Since I have returned to Nova Scotia from BC PHS and mat hospitals are not hiring. I have have four children who are all now grown up and have moved out on their own. My husband has retired but I would like to continue to work. I can offer honest hard work with expert baby and mother care.
