I am energetic, outgoing, fun, responsible, and flexible. I genuinely enjoy being around children. I can take directions with ease and 'go with the flow'. I have formal education in child development and recreational programming. I am kind, gentle, cheerful,and truly care about the well-being of the people around me. My philosphy on childcare is safety first, fun second. I am proactive around the home to ensure that everything is functioning safely, and always go the extra mile to make sure the children are enjoying their time with me. I also take every available opportunity to educate children - while still having fun. I am firm yet compassionate. Currently I am working as an aquatics administrator, but I have begun to miss my time spent with children and families. I am always willing to go the extra mile to ensure the people I work with are enjoying themselves and developing skills, talents, and their knowledge base. I have babysat children from ages 6 months to 12 years; starting at age 12. I worked as a youth counselor for Norwegian Cruise Line, where i created and implemented programs for children ages 2-17. I have worked in out-of-school care; where I had a group of 17 Kindergarten students who I created and implemented a structured program for. I have provided light housekeeping, laundry service, school drop-off and pick-up; as well as meal preperation and completed errands, for multiple families.
