I'm an
Individual
I am currently a student looking for a rewarding summer job. I work at PetSmart right now as a bather so I am good with any and all pets. Knowing that my career choice in life will be to one day attend to children, I highly wish to care for them now to gain experience. Since I have completely my first term at Brock I have learnt a lot through taking Child and Youth studies and Education. Although my career choice has changed from a teacher to Recreation therapy for September, my desire is still to have a career geared to children and helping them in every way possible. I am an outgoing individual that wants only the best for everyone. I will please not only your children through being happy and supportive, but I will also please you with my dedication and commitment. I am currently 18 and have been employed since I was 14. Because of this, I know how to be professional and to ensure overall happiness with any employer. I graduated High School last year with honors and is at Brock with a scholarship. I also graduated with a High Skills major that includes CPR training and health and wellness training. I am open to any additional training I may need. Thanks! -Kirsten Cerminara I started babysitting when I was 14 years old for a neighbor and the children were 5 and 7. I would stay late at their home while the mother worked late and ensured they had their dinner and were put in bed. I also cared for another couple of kids which I have known since birth. I started the oldest boy when he was a few months old and 3 years later his brother was born. They are now 8 and 5 and I baby sit on occasion. When babysitting during this job, my responsibilities included cleaning, cooking and playing with the children. Last year for a Co-op at school I was also placed in a grade 8 classroom for my placement. This work included helping the students with their homework, marking, and dealing with the finances with field trips and fundraising. During this time I created student-teacher relationships with the students and helped them through personal and educational problems.
