I am bright, bubbly and energetic. I love working with children and believe that the greatest thing I can do in my life is positively impact the life of a child. A carefully constructed foundation of self confidence, self, love and self worth are the most important gifts that can be given to a child. I have a long background working with children. My most recent experience includes spending the last year facilitating peer support groups for children at a local not for profit organization. There I would lead groups of up to 10 participants guiding an activity and discussion about emotions and tools to deal with emotions. The children I worked with had experienced the death of a parent. We also planned and facilitated week long summer daycamps. My past experience includes providing part time care to 3 children, twin boys age 6 months when I began and 3 years when I stopped and their older brother, age 10 when I began and 13 when I stopped. I also provided part time care to twin girls (age 3 when I began/age 10 when I stopped) and their older brother (age 8 when I began and age 15 when I stopped). I have also provided part time care to two children from the ages of 6 months up to 4 years. Recently some of my home care assignments have also included pets and young teens in the same home. I stayed for 5 days with a large bull mastiff and 14 year old girl, making sure we had dinner together each night and that homework was completed and she went to bed at a reasonable time, and getting up and seeing that she got on the bus to school in the morning.
