Nanny in London, Ontario

I am an enthusiastic University student who enjoys working with children. I am organized, responsible, diligent, intelligent, active, dedicated, involved, caring, loyal, respectful, and willing to learn. I am very creative and love anything to do with the Arts: Drama, Visual Art, and Music. I love reading but I am also very active and love playing sports. I regularly tutor elementary school children, I was a Girl’s club leader for two years, and I volunteer in the children’s programs in my church. I have also participated in four, week-long Service-Learning Trips in which I volunteered in various communities with a group of other students. I am certified with Standard First Aid and CPR-C and have worked the past two summers as a lifeguard. I am good at cooking and baking and can do various housework. I am currently studying Social Work and I am very excited to see what the future holds for me. I regularly tutor elementary school children. I have done one-on-one tutoring with a young boy who was struggling with reading and writing. I also volunteer at a library which offers an after school homework tutoring program for children. I was a Girl’s club leader for two years. I lead a group of 8-10 girls for two hours one night each week. I planned lessons, crafts, and other activities. I volunteer in the children’s programs in my church which includes children from preschool-Gr. 2. The classes usually have 6-12 children. I spent a summer as a daily babysitter for a family with two girls. I arrived in the morning and cared for them until after dinner. My responsibilities included preparing lunch and dinner and caring for and entertaining the girls. I would plan crafts and games to play and also take them on trips to a nearby park and library. I have had other various babysitting jobs with children of all ages. I have worked with a boy with a severe peanut allergy and I am trained with First Aid.
