I am an active gal seeking a family with similar values: fitness, balance, and fun! I have experience with infants/toddlers/young children/youth. I also have experience with some special needs and developmental delays. My goal is to find a family with whom I can share fun, outdoor activities and keep busy! Though I love a good movie-fest and select TV, I would much rather be outdoors: swimming, playing enjoying the sunshine. I would prefer to find a family who resides in the city of ottawa as I do not wish for an excessive commute. I am looking for full-time live-out employment (I love my apartment!) My passions are travel, running, photography, food and wine, and my dog, eddie! I have excellent English language skills and conversational French language skills. My formal education, extensive international travel experience and joie de vivre would allow me to assist your children with their formal schooling and also life lessons. Currently I have returned to full time university studies and so am available for limited part time hours through the week and varied weekend hours. Upon completion of exams in April, I will have a much broader, full-time weekday availability. I have held positions in varied sectors, but have never enjoyed a more rewarding experience than working closely with children. Helping to raise happy children and watch them learn and grow is unbeatable! I maintain strong relationships with the last family I worked with (who found me on this site!) and so I am optimistic about hearing from a family who believes I would be a great fit!
